The School For Scandal

Image
My Education Scandal Cartoon for Scotland Matters has now gone live. Entitled “School for Scandal”, Scotland Matters draws attention to he failure of the SNP government. There is an underlying message of the Education Scandal Cartoon. Being in the SNP’s leadership guaranteed to be implicated in a scandal. We have come to a point in history where something like an Education Scandal Cartoon has become unsurprising. Jordan Peterson remarked that it would be a refreshing change to see evidence of competence amongst politicians. Perhaps that saying is true: “If you can’t do it, then teach it.” (…but what if you can’t teach? – you can always become a politician.) Mark Twain said that politicians are like diapers. Both must be changed frequently for the same reason. If you enjoyed this cartoon, why not see more of my political work? Irish Brexit Riots Bus Burning

Image
The Irish Brexit Riots Bus Burning seems to ignore that fact that destroying infrastructure only hurts those most vulnerable in society. Forcing a political standpoint on society with violence is setting aside democratic process.  It is only as a last resort.  So when the time comes to pay the piper, those who resort to violence should not expect democratic and fair representation. Political Cartoon: TITANIC FAILURES

Image
I was commissioned to create a “Titanic Failures’ political cartoon for Scotland Matters. They are hoping to draw attention to the issues around the Ferry Building Trade in Glasgow. It would seem the entire project is not only way over budget and way behind it’s time line – the ship building company had to be nationalised to avoid it going into bankruptcy. Something fishy is going on here! If you enjoyed my thoughts along with this cartoon, why not go and browse more of my work?
