Black Lives Matter are most active in UK and USA. These countries have massive social security programmes. Most immigrants have come to expect support from Government. It benefits them to claim extraordinary levels of ‘fear, anxiety and distress’ because it qualifies them for more of the mothering Government’s resources. An accusation of ‘racism’ is the trump card in this game of extortion. The louder Black Lives Matter protestors screech about ‘systemic racism’, the more the State accedes to their demands. The noisiest mouths get fed first. This is incentivising interlopers and indigents to act like young Cuckoos.
The foundational premise of Human Rights is that we are all created equal. Insisting that certain lives are deserving of greater consideration based on external characteristics such as skin colour is racism.
As we find ourselves facing possible self extinction and existential angst is at it’s highest ever, I can’t help but notice all the eco-warriors and extinction rebels are strangely silent at a time when their voices could have the most powerful arguments. Why is that? I wonder. Fear of a plank planet. One would expect that those most vocal about the human impact on the environment during times when things are safe and predictable would at least be saying: “Ahah! …told you so!” But for the moment the green bloc seem to have disappeared into the ether. Around the world the lack of industry, commuting and consumption is clearing the air. It’s a perfect vindication for the call for less consumption, commerce and industry. Yet the greeny beanies seem to be in hiding. Not a word from Greenpeace, World Wildlife Fund or even the troops that routinely disrupt traffic and fill social media with their narratives and rhetoric. But there is silence. Utter, deafening silence. I wonder if all this ho...
Seeing Systemic Racism in Britain is a matter of choice. If you begin with the conviction that Systemic Racism its the only explanation for inequalities that divide British Society, you are sure to find evidence of it. You begin with a fixed belief and cherry-pick facts and information to confirm your suspicions. You are no better than a religious fanatic claiming that the world was created in six days. Having grown up in Apartheid South Africa and strongly opposing racism of the systemic sort, I find no evidence of it in Britain. I agree with the Ministerial findings on Systemic Racism in Britain. There simply isn't a more tolerant and less racist country in the world. I am proud to be British! If you enjoyed my thoughts along with this cartoon, why not go and browse more of my work? How can two of the richest, most famous and most privileged black women in the world today honestly have a conversation about being the victim of systemic racism? The system has disgorged a veritable cornucopia on both of them. Both women have everything they can ever need. This pandering to the catastrophising of an immature, spoilt Hollywood mum who married a Prince is sickening. She made her choices in full cognisance of what it meant to marry into The Royal Family. Yet she has the gall to assert that she is a victim. Perhaps her ex-staff say mean things because the have good cause to? Surely if she was kind, decent and courteous there would be no smoke and fires to extinguish? You think Harry would compare the behaviour of his mother to the behaviour of his wife and be able to draw a distinction. This is an intersectional triumph: Two filthy rich, privileged women of colour vir...
